This 5.8Ghz Microwave sensor LED downlight is idea for timed liging of garages, corridors, halls, stairways and other envioorments that don’t not required continuous lightighting.

The Luminaire will only turn on when the enviroment is dark (at night) on the detection of people movement.

And turn off or remain at a low 10%-15% dimming level after a pre-setting hold-time when there is no people movement.

The built-in photocell to prevent light switching on when there is sufficient natural light.

How dose it work?

How dose the microwave sensor led down light work
  1. The LED DownLight will not switch on when natural light is sufficient, even there is motion detected.
  2. The light switches on automatically with presence when natural light is insufficient.
  3. The light turns on at full 100% brightness or dims to maintain the 10-15% lux level.
  4. The light switches off when the ambient natural light is sufficient.
  5. The light dims to stand-by period after hold-time and stays on setting 10%- 15% dimming level.
  6. The light switches off completely after the stand-by period.

Upgrading the Sensing Mode

Compared with infrared sensing, the 5.8Ghz radar/microwave senses is with farther distance, wide angle, no dead zone, can penetrate glass, and thin wood. According to different power, it can penetrate walls of different thickness, free from environment and temperature, dust and other effects.

Intelligent sensing

When someone enters the detection range of the LED down light, the microwave detector works to illuminate the light. When the person leaves the detection range, the LED light is automatically turned off or remains at a low 10%-15% dimming level. At the same time, the led down light automatically recognizes day and night thanks to built-in daylight sensor.
